A Vodka Slice Worth Going to Midtown For

A Vodka Slice Worth Going to Midtown For

I don't think about this often very consciously, or haven't, at least, since repeated visits to Mama's Too where I find myself reordering their vodka slice even over the pepperoni or baseline plain slices, but I think I have to go on the record as saying that I really like a good vodka slice.

Usually I'd be torn though because ordering one means that if I'm not getting a second slice I have to choose between vodka and pepperoni. Sofia solves that problem with the seasonal square pie I snagged there recently.

The pepperoni vodka slice has a significant onion presence too... a bit sweet, but not cloyingly so. It's a nice counterbalance to the zest of the ronicups. And their grandma undercarriage is light enough, the cheese ratio in proportion so as to make rationalizing a second slice an easy thing to do even if you walked in telling yourself, "just one slice."

I'd go out of my way for this one and would rec you do too.
